This blog is a site for appreciating and sharing those noble young (and old) plants I have had the pleasure of either growing, or witnessing the growth of elsewhere. I claim only to be an enthusiast, by no means an expert, but always willing to learn new information about these fascinatingly colourful members of the (domesticated) natural world. Pictured right is a specimen of Salvia divinorum growing hydroponically, alongside cacti of the Echinopsis/Trichocereus genus, including species of pachanoi, bridgesii and macrogonus. Some infant Lophophora williamsii are visible, as is the lush green leaf of a Strelitzia reginae (not a psychoactive plant in itself but no less adorable!)
